Our Service agreement

Effective Date: 07/01/2025

This Service Agreement ("Agreement") is made between Eco Clean Exeter ("Service Provider", "we", "us", "our") and the Client ("you", "your"). By booking a service with Eco Clean Exeter, you agree to be bound by the terms of this Agreement.

1. Services Provided

Eco Clean Exeter will provide eco-friendly cleaning services ("Services") as agreed upon with the Client. All services are subject to availability and the accurate provision of information by the Client during the booking process.

2. Booking and Payment Terms

  • Full Payment: Full payment for services is required at the time of booking, unless otherwise agreed.
  • Payment Methods: Payments are securely processed through our online platform (Setmore) using third-party services like Stripe or PayPal. We do not store payment details, we also accept cash.

3. Cancellations and Rescheduling

48-Hour Notice Requirement

  • All cancellations or rescheduling requests must be made at least 48 hours before your scheduled appointment.

Late Cancellations

  • Cancellations or rescheduling requests made within 48 hours of the appointment will not be accepted, and the full-service fee will be charged/ Retained.

Refund Policy

No Refunds for Late Cancellations

  • Refunds will not be provided for appointments cancelled within 48 hours of the scheduled time.

No Refunds for Missed Appointments

  •  No-Show Policy: Failure to attend the appointment without prior notice will result in the forfeit of any payment, we will wait outside the agreed location for 20 minutes maximum.

4. Service Limitations and Liability

  • Service Delivery: While we strive for the highest quality, results may vary based on property conditions. We do not guarantee specific results.
  • Liability: Eco Clean Exeter is not liable for minor damage to property or unsecured valuables. Clients must secure valuables and inform us of any delicate items. 
  • We have full public liability insurance up to £1m.
  • Access: Clients must ensure safe access to the property for cleaning services.

5. Health and Safety

You must inform us of any potential risks, hazards, or fragile items on the premises before the service. Safe access to the property must be provided to enable us to perform the services.

6. Privacy and Data Protection

Eco Clean Exeter is committed to protecting your personal data. Your data will be handled according to the UK GDPR and our Privacy Policy.

7. Client Responsibilities

  • You agree to provide accurate details during the booking process to facilitate efficient service delivery.
  • You are responsible for ensuring access to the property and for securing all valuables before the service.

8. Disputes and Complaints

If any disputes or complaints arise, you must contact us at EcoCleanExeter@gmail.com or +447473767634. We will aim to resolve all complaints within 14 business days. Any unresolved disputes may be escalated to Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) providers.

9. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
